Cheryl and Ashley Cole‘s marriage of four years was dissolved in under 60 seconds on Friday morning in High Court.
After hearing that the demise of the relationship was brought about because of Ashley’s “unreasonable behavior,” the judge immediately accepted the reasoning in record time. Cheryl was granted a decree nisi, a preliminary divorce.
The two will now undergo a six-week “cooling off period” before a decree absolute is granted, which will make their divorce official.

Justin Bieber revealed that he wants to star in a remake of Grease AND that he wants Miley Cyrus to be the Sandy to his Danny!
He says:
“It would be a lot of fun. It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny. I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act.”
“I’d want some great people to star in it. Wouldn’t Susan Boyle make an amazing Principal McGee? We’d just need to write it into the script that she broke into song. I am obsessed with Susan. When I look at her original audition it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would love to include Cheryl Cole as well. She would look great in the Rydell High cheerleading uniform.“

Guess what? Cheryl Cole doesn’t have her cute little Newcastle accent anymore!
Friends close to the X Factor judge say that she has developed a distinct American accent after spending the summer in Hollywood.
And you know who is to blame for that, dontcha?! Effing Derek Hough! Her pal says:
“Cheryl has developed a slight American accent while she’s been there but it’s still a long way off sounding like she’s not from Newcastle. Derek has been mocking her about a few phrases, and he also does a good impression of her voice now.”
Ugh! How annoying!
Just one more reason to give up the charade! He’s obviously ruining you!

Exciting! This is something American Idol should have done!
As part of the reality show The X Factor, select contestants are distributed amongst the judges and sent to a variety of locations around the world to train in the ‘judges house’ portion of the competition, where Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Tweedy, and Louis Walsh will mentor them until the live performance segment!
It has been revealed that for this season, Minogue’s crew will be heading to Melbourne, Australia, so she can simultaneously care for her new baby and get back to work earlier than anticipated!
Walsh will be hosting his contestants in Ireland, and Cowell has set up shop in Spain!
Meanwhile, Tweedy is sticking around El Lay, while she works on her album and coaches her selection of contestants!
Wow! Everyone’s pretty spread out!
It will be interesting to see how everyone does judging this time around, given Tweedy’s illness and Mingoue’s maternity leave! They haven’t been around much thus far!
